Gov. Kasich on handling $8 billion deficit

Ohio Governor John Kasich is having a monumental task at hand. Getting Ohio out of a nearly $8 billion deficit and balancing the budget.

As he told Gretchen Carlson on Fox & Friends, the state of Ohio has lost more jobs than any other state aside from California and Michigan in the last 10 years.

He is now installing reforms, cutting the size of the budget and government, and getting Ohio to be a pro-business state to make it a competitive state once again.

Kasich also talked about the enormous federal budget and deficit. He brings in his perspective since he was one of the principal architects in balancing the federal budget back in the 90s.
